1. Obviously the weather.
2. How the the sign on most houses tells you not only their number but the street. In England you’d have to walk to the end of the street/road to find the where you’re at.
3. Freedom, at the moment I don’t really have any wheels to get about so I have to rely mostly on buses. Back in Vietnam however I managed to get a full motorbike license so I can just pop on any old bike and whiz off through the traffic and back again.
4. Money - When I was last there I would get a good 30,000vnd or so for my quid. You can do alot with a quid like get 2 litres of petrol, get a hair cut or your hair washed a few times, go from TP HCM to my village ect. In England at the moment a bottle of coke would cost me just over a quid. EXPENSIVE!!
5. Food! everything is soooo cheap and you have alot of choice to make. Next time I go back I should start a Vietnamese food blog.
